Resolved Question: I'm nineteen, if admitted myself into a psychiatric hospital would I HAVE to be in the adult ward?

I'm 19 years old living in the Midland/ Odessa area of Texas and lately I've been having a lot of problems. Mostly depression, last night I anted to kill myself so much that I actually wrote a note and had the pills ready. I was talked out of it by two friends, one of which called my dad. I've mostly had a lot of social issues and other problems. I also have a moderate to severe OC, which makes things a little less bearable I want to go to a hospital, mostly because I'm not sure what else to do. I may see a professional before that but I've had some issues with them before I do NOT however want to go if I am grouped in with the adult ward. Quite frankly the place seems like it would drive me more of the edge ( was in adolescent unit once that as near one, you could see it across the nurse's station) I would like to go to psychiatric hospital with a unit dedicated toward younger adults/college age, is there anywhere for me to go?...
